Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Effective date:

This policy is Section 3 (Data Protection and Privacy) of our Client Terms of Service and applies whenever you use Merry Right.

What we collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, and password (stored securely).
  • Profile and contact details you provide (for example phone number).
  • Service data you upload or generate in the platform (for example project details, visits, reports, photos, and documents).
  • Usage and device data (for example IP address, browser type, pages visited) to help operate and secure the service.
  • Payment and billing data required to process subscriptions (payment method details may be processed by payment providers).

How we use data

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service, including report delivery and customer support.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, and invoices.
  • Send essential service communications (verification, security notices, receipts, and support responses).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access and enforce our terms.

Sharing

We share personal data only when needed to operate the service, such as with payment processors, email delivery providers, hosting providers, and other vendors under appropriate protections, or when required by law.

Confidentiality guarantee

  • No third-party sharing. Merry Right does not disclose, rent, sell, or share client data with third parties.
  • Neutrality wall. Except where you have given prior contractual consent, your information is strictly withheld from contractors, consultants, and unrelated field workers, preserving Merry Right's status as a neutral monitoring service.
  • Service optimization. Merry Right uses client-provided text, images, and video solely to generate structural reports and to mitigate on-the-ground risks.
  • Correspondence records. We systematically archive client communication (addresses, phone numbers, and media) to maintain complete project histories.

Internal access restraints

  • Need-to-know access. Internal employee access to media files is limited strictly to the specific tasks assigned to each person's role.
  • Field employees are prevented from viewing signed legal contracts, client video-signature files, and master account data held deeper within the system.

Website analytics

This website uses our own first-party analytics. It runs entirely on Merry Right's infrastructure — there are no third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and no data is sent to Google or any other outside service.

  • What we record: a random visitor identifier stored in your browser, a session identifier, the pages you view and time spent, the site or campaign that referred you (including UTM parameters), your approximate device and browser type, scroll depth, clicks on links and buttons, on-site searches, file downloads, and whether a visit led to an inquiry.
  • What we do not do: we do not sell or share this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not track you across other websites. IP addresses are hashed with a rotating salt and are not stored in the clear.
  • Retention: detailed page and event records are automatically deleted after 120 days; only anonymous aggregate totals are kept longer.
  • Your control: choose "Reject" on the notice shown at the bottom of the page, or enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, and analytics collection stops for you.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain limited records as required for compliance even after account deletion.

Your choices

  • Access and update your account information in the portal.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data using Account Deletion.
  • Contact support for privacy questions or requests.
